To develop skills in history taking, communication and assessment of the sick and injured child presenting to Primary Care.
Explore issues of consent, capacity and safe guarding issues aroudn children.
Devolop the ability to differentiate minor symptoms from red flags and provide treatment plans or referral to other services.
To enable pracititioners to function effectively and efficiently within the constraints of contemporary healthcare provision in the management of minor ailments and injuries using an evidenced based approach.
